    Question EG B18B1 Swap Questions

    OK. I have a 1993 EG Civic SI with a d16z6 motor and 5 speed. I am trying to swap it with a 1997 B18B1. .......Questions: Can i use a YS1 GSR cable tranny. Whitch axles should i use. Motor mounts?? I need help

    Well im looking at buying a tranny from a 91 integra, cable tranny. will it work. The B18b1 is a cable tranny so............?

    nah , b18b1 has the hydro tranny. cable is easier in my opinion but to put a cable in a eg u have to spend a extra 2-300 dollars to put it in for a special mount kit and conversion kit. so my advice would be to sell what ever tranny that is cable that u have and buy one that is hydro , but yea easiest fuckin swap in the world . i have done this swap in 2 hrs before.

    Hydro your best bet is HMOTORSONLINE.COM

    but they arent cheap, all his trannys have LOW mileage and are personally inspected. NO GRINDS.

    the old D16Z6 motor will be sold as well as the 5spd tranny. ...The automatic B18 tranny will be for sale also.

    I also have all the interior for sale as well as suspension and there is a set of 18's on the car that ill sell. Ther not in perfect shape ....
