    Default VW shops

    Can anyone give me any info on local shops that can assist or even do my swap for me!

    I have a 88 GTI and have a VR6 out of a '93 Passat that has been sitting in my garage FOREVER!!! I have the wiring harness and ECM and thats it..I know there is a ton more stuff I need, but wanted to see what local shops (if any) do the swap and how much they would charge..

    call up EPG talk to brian 770-794-7240 (they are vw specialist and do alot of work for members of he site including my car)

    also

    autofab is another euro shop and Thomas the owner is a real cool cat they done some work for me as well (specialize in bmw's but they are a german shop)... 678-482-2221

    Admin, you wouldn't happen to have Brians email, would you? I spoke with him earlier and I was supposed to send him what I have for the vr6 swap...
    This is what I have, [email protected]
    It came back as a non-email.

    EPG has done some swaps before... they were going to do my cabby's ABA swap but i listened to some friends and took it to another shop to it and they fucked up my car major and about killed me while i was driving it.

    Brian and crew are top notch to work w/ he is probably one of the only shop owners i know of that will go above/beyond for his customers... i got there one day at 530 to get some shit worked on i had the last appointment... they couldn't get to it he threw me the keys to his brand new GLI to take home for the night b/c my car wouldn't be ready till morning

    Yup, Assist did woek to my Jetta after a long drawn out attempt by a few other places to fix it. Scott has forgotten more than most people know, and knows more than anyone should. And he's a cool guy also! He drives swapped VWs, and can boost anything. Call him!

    EPG does good work if you are on that side of town, never seen them do a swap, but I am sure they have also.

    thanks! I found the website after some searching....

    Anyway, I would love to have the knowledge to do the swap, but, I can't even wire up a stereo...So......i have an attention span of a knat and can't concentrate longer than 10 minutes......DAMN hippie mom!!!!!
