Default ka w/ s15 sr tranny

    i have a 98 s14. i know that sr20 and ka transmissions are interchangeable
as long as you swap the bell housing, if so is it possible to put a 6 speed
s15 tranny on a ka, also would it be worth it, is the ka going to have
enough power to handle the gear ratios. last of all, can it be done without
throwing a check engine light to be able to pass emissions.
    thanks for your time

ka tranny will take more power
speed sensor on the s15 silvia is in the diff, not the tranny
s15 sr tranny has notoriously bad syncros, 1st and 2nd gear start screamin around 30k miles.

so the answer is no you wont pass emissions.
