I am going to buy an eg at a great price. There is one problem it is running hot. The guys says he's switched out the thermostat and the radiator and it is still hot. Anyone have ANY ideas what could be the issue???

When does it overheat? sitting at idle, while driving, etc.
At idle, check the Radiator fan, as those sometimes decide not to work
While dirivng, it can be the water pump or headgasket.

he did say too that he wired the fan so it was always on and said the problem hasn't really happened since then. but he isn't sure because he hasn't drove that much only to and from work to the house.

great price IMO..perfect price for a swap project. im not sure on the price, havent priced honda water pumps before, im also not sure if its advisable on the Dseries to change the timing belt while you are in there, but im pretty sure it is
