    Keep your Honda.

No really I'm tired of running into people like you. Because if you have to ask without doing a search.....and there is plenty of shit out there...then you are a troll.

This is one of the reasons I got out of 240's, the owners were getting dumber and dumber.

"I sold my gsr del sol and bought this hatchback with an sr! When the turbo hits it's like VEEETECHH!"

i can get you specs. when i first posted on supraforums i got the same treatment. what exactly do u want to know? s13 sr20 202hp 205 lb/ft tq s15 250hp i forgettorque. also the blacktop has stronger internals. thts the only difference between red n black. and the s15 had a upgraded t28 with larger injectors than the previous models. s13 had a t25 turbo. s14 had a t28 and i think it made 220hp. i can go search resources and be sure. ask anything else and i will help ya.

OMG the difference between red and blacktop is the blacktop has cooling fins in the head and its newer. Thats it, no stronger internals or anything.

What do you want to know and how much is your budget. You can do a cheap ca18 swap to a hardcore rb26 swap. Most people do the median, the sr20 since it is strong and parts are easy to get.

You won't be able to any of the swaps correctly for $2000. You will need at least $3500 to do it right. Now you could turbo the KA for $2000, but if it has high milage then reliabililty is an issue
If you can't handle the Race Bread then maybe you should go with Whole Wheat...

OMGZ i made a mistake so sorry.

and jew i can tell you now u will need more than 2k for an sr motor. 2k might get u a good clip. i can get them for 1800 from my wholesale guy. it includes everything, ignitor chip, tranny, uncut harness, etc.

all depends on which blacktop you're talking about... all of the SR's have the same basic bottom end. red and blacktop S13 engines are basically the same other than what you mentioned. S14/15 blacktops got a variable timing setup, slightly different head design, and of course the larger turbos.

but i am going to have to agree with your original statement... the "i only know hondas" line is the biggest load of crap on earth. people could rattle on for weeks about which swaps you can do and how you can do them, which are better for which reasons, argue back and forth SR vs. RB vs. KA-T vs. 350 and you'd still not know what the hell you're doing. ALWAYS do your research first, then ask specific questions. otherwise you can't complain about being treated like a noob, because it's obvious you are one .

best thing is to go to one of those 240 forums. They have more specific forums for motor swaps. I recommand www.nicoclub.com. Use a search on it and you'll find lots of info about motor swap.

Are you going to do the swap yourself? If not, you will need money to install it plus I would recommend getting some parts like boost guage, koyo radiator, exhaust, and boost controller while you do the swap.
