    Default stock question

hey. just got my s13 yesterday after my mx-6 disaster.... i need new rear struts ( or shocks- whats the difference?) but when i went to go check on them they asked if i had the automatic leveling system. what does it do and how do i check for it? and i dont have a manual.... and i needed new brake pads n they asked if i had abs... not sure ifi have that either. so i was jus gonna go out n hit about 40 mph n hit the brakes n see if i slide or not... haha, oh well... also if yall know any good spots around l'ville/buford to learn driftin or know where a track is nearby that would be helpful... oh n how do i check to see if my springs are adjustable... the car came lowered 2 inches but it doesnt look like the rear is sitting any lower- looks kinda weird... will new shocks make it sit lower? thanks.

If you have ABS, there will be a huge box in the passenger side corner near the firewall with tons of brake lines going in and out. Auto-leveling system, never knew any 240's had that, and we've done tons of them. Generally people just throw springs on to lower it, I'd say if your rears are gone, your fronts are probably too if not close to, replace all 4, go with AGX's, or Koni Yellows, don't bother with the KYB GR2's, or the Tokico's, get some good adjustables. If your springs are adjustable you might just have coilover sleeves. If you got time, swing it out to our shop, and we can check it out for you.
