new to VW

i just bought an 02 passat.5spd turbo . its the gls. really nice not that fast. im use to sr and 4g63t etc but its a nice dail driver. i just wanted to see what can yo do with them to make em a lil faster. well let me know ill post pics later. thanks

Chip, CB, DP, CAI...thats a good start, and will wake it up alot.

need roughly under 700$:

chip GIAC baby = 500$
dv(bov for jap people) = 50-150$
k&n filter = 50$

that will yeild you around 45-55whp/70-80lbs... best bang for the buck. then from there exhaust + dp (techtonics tuning makes a good dp + hiflo cat)

cool will the chip need tuning or is it plug and play and also whats a good shop to take it to.i usually goto topspeed but any suggestions? also is my gas going to change cuz it alreadys sucks.

EPG is the only VW shop to go to... i highly wouldn't suggest using Jap shops

Software is a flash program it is flashed on your ecu takes about 10-20mins. Call up EPG tell them Paul from IA sent ya and they will take care of you.
