    personally i like the older A3 better they sell it in europe. you can get it with a 3.2 liter vr6 or just v6 not sure but its also awd. I have a german magazine somewhere around here that has a '01 A3 with body and engine mods.

    heres a almost stock except for the wheels

    The new ones are based off of the new GTI chassis correct? Were the older ones based off the last generation Golf/GTI?

    Old one looks clean but I'm digging the newer englarged Audi grill. I wonder how much an Audi dealer would give me on trade in for an A3?

    I've got too much money in the car right now, that was more wishful thinking. I'd bet the 5speed tranny swap will kill all resale value at a dealer despite the fact that my car is electrically and mechanically an OEM 5MT wrx.
