KA's don't seem to smoke much unless under hard boost with blown ringlands, who cares if it fucks up the cylinder wall, I have plenty more laying around, takes less time to swap a motor than a piston. I don't reccommend it for everyone, I just don't care, hell ask Dave how many times I blew my KA-T's ringlands and drove for, still walk most of the shit out on the roads nowadays, even on 3.5 cylinders.

Looks like that KA is using PVC piping and bathroom grommets. I guess it does not matter since its not boosted. But you’d figure if that he would of changed it if he did all that work.

Ok so maybe KAs dont make bad ass forced induction race motors... whatever. How many old nissan hardbody pickups do you see on the road with ten bazillion miles! Mines got almost 180k and runs perfect, good as new. Seen em with over 300k. Yeah so they are slow, not efficient, dont like boost... but they DO last,if reasonably taken care of.

KA's suck hardcore nob. I am personally an SR fan. but i am not going to say that an N/A car cant smoke a boosted car or a KA is not able to roast on a SR. i guess it all depends what you drop in your car. i prefer my RB's and SR's though.

Go there and quit your bitchin'. KA's are not THAT much different from a SR. SR is basicly a shorter version of the KA. Which only yeilds more torque for the KA. The fastest SR I have seen ran like a 9.2? Ivan just hit 9.7 in a KA-T.

And if you want 300tq at 2K rpms, KA is going to be a closer match than a SR.
I too am a track man, torque is what its all about.
