I know they do a lot of high horsepower Ford engines- but I know IA member "roadster" works there. Good guys - met them - seen what engines they do. Would recommend to anyone.

After talking to Spoolin, I decided to use Larry Smith Automotive Machine Shop to get my work done. The prices themselves are well worth the 1.5hr drive. I can't speak on the quality yet, because I haven't picked up my motor. I keep everyone posted.

I can speak for Scott's in Fayetteville. Top Notch work and a great turn around time. I had all of my machine work done there for my 351W. Align Honed, Bored .030, Torque plate honed, Rods Resized, Crank turned .10/.10, Decked and the rotating assembly balanced. Great group of guys there.

You're right about that! You pay for junk, and they give you some of the best junk there is. Anyone that thinks Scotts machine shop does good work, doesn't know the difference between good and bad. If you only knew all of the stuff that I've seen, and had to fix, that came out of that machine shop.

Eagle does great work but they are too expensive, and charge for things they shouldn't!

Personal experience, they charge me for cleaning, a staggering ammount of $150 on a head and a block that where personally cleaned to perfection and rifle brush all oil galies by me, even after a said so, the reason they give me... we always wash and clean everything that came here, they charge me for installing and remove the main studs for the align hone $5 each stud, each way, thing that they have to do anyways to do the job, plus they charge me for the job the same with the head studs to hone with the block plate, thing that got to be done to do the job anyways, what a bunch of douches rednecks, for a line hone bore and hone and deck job on the block and head on a 2JZ $1300 the rip me off, the job was perfectly done and within custom tolerances all around but, IMO way too expensive, for a non balanced work cuz i had the rotating assembly already balanced and completlly done by GOZA.

My next jobs all are going to GOZA in Acworth!
