    Default Clutch/throw-out bearing replacement

    clutch and throw-out bearing replacement on an 03 lancer.. i've been told it's the same as a 2g eclipse.. gotta drop the whole motor to do it.. is this somehting me and my dad can do?? and what tools are neccesary?? or should i have a shop doit it, spen the 350 and not have to worry about fuck-ups? and where can i get a throw-out bearing?

    I think you have to buy a clutch kit to get the throw out bearing or pilot bearing can't buy them separate. As far as changing a clutch out, have you done it before? if you have then go for it, but if not then just pay the cash.

    well i ordered a centerforce stage 2 clutch kit.. dual friction.. 90% holding increase. mainstream is gonna put it in while i'm in destin w/bybyevo the first week of july.. hopefully it'll last that long..
