Wouldn't it be the same filter for the domestic SR20 that came in the 200SX and such?
i thought it might be but i want to be sure.
its the same filter as the sr20de
head to nissan and get filters for a 91 sentra se-r. thats what i do. if its a RWD and you didnt leave off that intake manifold bracket when you put the motor in, be prepared to remove the alternator to get the filter out. i was in for a big surprise when i did my first oil change

No you can leave the alt bracket on, just remove the alternator ( i take the belt off and loosen mine and slide it out enough to get the filter out)Originally Posted by Ran Kizama

Well, whatever works.![]()
what the hell are you guys smoking? i do regular oil changes with both the alternator and the manifold brace in there and haven't ever had an issue getting to it.
edit: don't use PureOne oil filters, for some reason they don't fit (they fall off). Mobil1 or Nissan work great
I think it was Cody's that loosened up too, like the week he bought itOriginally Posted by HiPSI
