    Question 2002 G20 MODs

    Anyone know of any mods for the Infiniti G20 2002, i just bought one. what should i start of at? Any help would be great. any mods for the sr20de engine available? :confused:

    Drive it. Leave it bone stock. There are NO SWAPS OR PARTS FOR THESE CARS AT ALL.

    Yea g20's have no aftermarket.

    Also I'm gonna guess you got an automatic...don't waste your time modding it unless you wanna do a 5spd swap.

    BTW some mods on my P11

    RacingHart 18” C3s
    Tein Stech Springs
    KYB AGX Shocks
    Stillen FSTB
    Stillen RSTB
    Stillen Rear sway bar
    And some other stuff

    next i want to do a SR20ve with a 99-02 G20t 5speed tranny
    with like I/H/E, cams, and tuning you can get around 200whp with a 8,000rpm red line

    Yeah you arent going to hit that hp mark with the mods listed. AND 200 whp is pretty weaksauce in a p11 with full interior. A p10 that is stripped, that would feel pretty smooth.

    Yeah i was kidding before by the way I think they do make parts for g20s if only i could find some.....

    Is the g20 automatic or not? Gonna convert it when you swap it out?

    Guy named Kesi with a 97 200sx has a SR20ve with 223whp and 159ft lbs
    His mods were ... Custom CAI, Header, greddy exhaust, N1 cams/springs, UR pulley , and emanage

    BTW 200whp is a lot more than swapping a BB in the car ... granted it's easier and cheaper to get more power out of a turbo motor but the reliability and smooth power band of the VVL motor is so nice ... plus if you really want to go all out get a SR20vet motor than you will be the shit

    Dont get me started. 159 torque is what really counts and that BLOWS. You hav obviusly never owned a turbo car if you think they arent reliable with up'ed boost. Its all about the tune.

    And your friend has alot of work done and still dynos lower than a bluebird avenier or pulsar swap stock.

    Half Baked on here had a stock as hell avenier swap and dynoed 202hp 205 torque. So no actually you are wrong about making more power off the bat with the ve.

    sr20ve's are cool to cruise around in. basically its like a gsr motor. Naturally aspirated, revs high but wont be as fast as a turbo car with the same work.

    DET's are just as reliable


    Front mount and a downpipe and 202 is what he made.

    Parents havent paid for shit and I bought my 240 with nothing done. Did the swap in my garage. Have pics if you need them.

    Bitch please… if mods are what you compare cars with or how much money you spend on your car my system alone has more money in it than every mod in your car. So in essence if I had took that money and did all engine you would get your ass handed to you every day of the week … but yeah if we ever do meet up I wouldn’t mind seeing how that engine does in the P11

    I spent my money on all around things to make the car perform better not on subs.

    I have 260 whp on stock turbo for now and the factory system sounds fine.

    Thanks for all your replies, man i turned this in to a really good post? A whole lot of debating about who's g20 has the best mods. Yeah i do have an automatic and the engine only has about 64,000 miles so i am trying to work with what i got, but i want to garage an sr20det or the VVL and mod it until my engine i have now is gone. So i guess for know i just want some simple mods for the G20 and then move up from there.

    the only difference between the avenier motor and a BB is the placement of the turbo (front mount vs top mount) and the fact that the avenier has a ball bearing turbo which means higher psi

    And the avenir is a newer motor, so less mileage = good.

    Also the avenir doesn't have a top mount intercooler.
