    Default clearcoat carbon fiber parts?

    i just bought some carbon fiber fenders and a carbon fiber hood for my accord from nopi both Seibon brand. anyways the guy told me that i should get them clearcoated at a paint shop to make them last more than a year... i was thinkin in my head have any of you guys had to/done this for that reason? thanks

    if you decide to do it, hit up black paper diary
    he did all my shit and i know he is VERY reasonable

    I would highly recomend to get them clear coated. They come from the manurfacture with just a cf resin covering the CF. There is nothing in the resin or fiber to protect against UV rays (fading etc...)

    I have a PPG Clear on my Carbon Fiber hood. Does wonders for it. And keeps it protected.

    what these guys said... if you want to keep it from warping/cracking/peeling so easy... go have it done. Sprayglo talk to ED he will hook you up
