Custom exhaust

So, I'm planning on selling my cat-back exhaust (Skunk 2) cause my g/f thinks it's too loud, but I don't want to lose the performance.

Does anyone have experience with running 2'' pipe to a stock muffler. I want to keep the performance and lose the sound. I'm looking at a R*SR exhaust too, but it's like $550.00, so I'm trying to go the cheaper route.

Also, what are some good muffler shops that would be able to do this. thanks in advance
