Exclamation PRELUDE CLUTCH CHANGE 4/29 --12:22 PM

So i got this damn 97 Lude and when i got it the clutch was almost gone....well now its all gone...i can shift gears without having to clutch and it still doesnt move...

    But yea

Well I got the damn axles out and the mounts off.......shit i'm thinking of taken the whole swap out to change out the clutch....Bseries is so much easier...more room i could pull the motor in and out in a few

So should i take the motor& tranny out or take just the tranny out? Any tips ideas? Nvr done just a clutch change with motor/tranny in car

lmk asap still taken off bolts right now

if anythign i'll just hank the whole shit out

There are actually several places this would be suitable in:

    GENERAL TECH
    HONDA. In the JAPANESE section.
    ALL MOTOR

    Lolol. Later, QD.

Because there was no mention of turbo or SC. I'm sure if there was one in the near future, it would've been mentioned. Later, QD.

the tranny should come right off w/out having to pull the motor..you might have to drop and raise the engine a little to get the stress off the input shaft, once all the bolts are loose from the bellhousing you should be able to pry it apart.

on my accord i had to remove a piece from the suspension for some clearance to pull it out from under the car. im not sure if the 5th gen ludes have the bar that goes from the LCA to the front crossmember

since you took the axles and mounts out then just support the motor with a hydrolic jack with a block off wood and take off the bolts and drop the tranny on a tire or another hydrolic jack. But you're right, b-series are easier, took me 3 hours to do mines.
