Ok heres the thing i have an 92' prelude si with an H23 recently bought it but the motor was locked up my question is i wanna go with the 2.2 vtec but will it bolt up to the 2.3's tranny? it's a auto tranny. any help would be helpful Thanks!

yes, just like just about any b series block will bolt up to a b series tranny. itll work

Because he wants to drive the car, not pull out his hair. Auto to manual swaps aren't easy unless you got all the parts from the manual lined up and know how everything mounts. I believe the guy who did Kevin's crx had a wrecked manual to get all the parts off for the swap, plus he was able to see where everything went because he simply took it off the donor.
The reason I asked is because auto tranny h22's don't make good power thats all.
Yeah but they are easier to drive. Though not as fun IMO.

My CB7 H22 automatic makes pretty good power to me. I have the H22 tranny also.
i will have a jdm h22a auto tranny for sale in two weeks if ya want it. but to answer your question yes the h23 will bolt up

My friend has a jdm h22 with a h23 tranny falls way out of vtec in third.Got out ran by a h22 without third gear from a roll

mine makes great power for an auto..... and yes it isn't giving the full potential of the h22 bc i lost to a h23 manual by a car and plus the only ecu you can get is a jdm and 118 top speed ftl
