    Default Question about motor rebuild

When taking a bottom end out of an engine can you just hone the block and put the new stuff in if the pistons are standard and no bore is required? does any know of any good shops around atlanta that will rebuild my motor? Its a 1996 ealgle talon tsi.

I would probably wait to buy the pistons, just make sure it doesnt have to get bored out, if the sleeves have scars or wear you will need to bore it...If the cylinder walls are fine then a hone will do the job...Most machine jobs can do it...Depending where youre located...
