    Default HELP overtightened and broke

    I was changing the valve cover gasket and as I was putting the cover back on I overtightened one of the screws and that shit broke now the part of it is still screwed in the head what the hell do I do

    If there is enough still sticking out you can get a stud remover and extract it. If not do what dereksi said and have it drilled and tapped.

    Or if your lazy and feel lucky put the valve cover on and hope it doesnt leak. lol (and they are bolts not screws)

    or maybe if I fill the whole valve cover with gasket sealer it will not leak whahaha lol maybe I should go try to fix it instead of beating on the damn keyboard

    for the time being id put it together and see if it leaks if you dont have the tools to fix it. It takes all of 5 mins to pull the valve cover back off

    i would reccommend fixing it... riding around and "hoping" it doesnt leak is kind of ghetto
