    alright so im trying to take my center console out of my car.....taken all of hte obvious screws out on the sides n back of the lilttle compartment where hte arm rest is, but where the hell is the other screws that are keeping it in...are they some where under the head unit or behind the damn ash tray n lighter?

    you see that rectangle? Use a flat head screw driver to pry that up and there will be 2 or 4 screws down there.
