Starting has slowly detoriorated until today when it will just no longer start. A few days ago it started turning really slowly, so I'm thinking its the battery. Replaced that on the way to work yesterday. Started for my wife when she drove it home, but still cranking slowly. Last night I decided to check and see if its the alt. Started it up (with some trouble slow turning) and pulled the hot cable off the battery. Kept running for atleast 20 minutes. I know I have a random short in the rear passenger side so I'm thinking its shorted. So I leave the hot cable off last night JIC. Woke up this morning and clamped the hot wire back on the battery and tried to start. Werrrrwerrrrwerrrrrrrrrrr dead. Take newly purchased battery back to store (AdvancedAuto gotta love those guys/gals. friendly and knowledgable) and they charge in 6 min and test A OK.

So I'm convinced its either the starter or the wiring harness. How do I test if the wiring harness is still good? I will look for obvious signs of corrosion etc tonight when I get home. Any other suggestions?
