if built correctly it can be one bad ass motor...but all the ones i have seen have been known to blow up easily..if built right i think they put out like 215 whp 165 ft/lbs torque maybe more
You might see those numbers with some bad ass cams, sleeved, forged rods and pistons, a top notch header, high compression and a bunch of tuning. For a standard Frankenstein though probably 175-180whp and 135-140lb/ft The biggest weakness comes in not being able to rev it out. A b20 has weak rods that can't handle the high RPM's that you get with a VTEC block. With ARP rod bolts it can be fairly reliable to around 8k though. Just make sure that you do it right or have someone do it that knows what they are doing. Doing it right the first time is always a smart move.
Also the b20 is heavy... are u into drag, or autox/canyon-carving?

oh no. hondas and acuras are WAY to hardcore for me...I was just getting info for a friend. but if any thing it would be for autoX
If it's for autox I say go with the b16. The b20 will push in the corners big time. Keep it nimble w/ the b16.Originally Posted by Sentra
