    Default Nissan 300zx??????

    I got a 1987 Nissan 300zx turbo.....Im not sure if it is twin turbo or not. Does anyone know if it is twin turbo or just single?????

    Z31s were never produced with twin turbos, so the best you can do is a VG30DET.

    yeah i just wasnt sure but i thought it was single thxs. one more question what is the max psi my turbo can handle without intercooler?

    but always look at exhaust mani piping to tell.

    id go with 7-9 without the intercooler...the turbo can handle 13psi or so...but i deg woundlt boost that high...without an intercooler...

    If it's anyhting like a Z32, you'll need a new ecu with new timing map, fuel map.... to run higher boost. So don't touch the boost setting until you have the supporting mods.

    technically it's "VG30T", single cam per bank is correct
