    Default rear caliper

The problem: I drive the car today and hear weird noises and some knocking, i check and the rear right break caliper fell of the rotor mount.. someone is either trying to kill me or the 2 mounting bolts that are suppose to be there fell off.. well since the breaks wouldnt work.. i break and pumped and now my piston is missing, and leaked brake fluid everywhere. I let the dealership (VW, Audi in marietta) take a look at it and says i need a new caliper n want to charge me out the ass..
can i just buy the piston? and the two bolts?
what kind of caliper can i buy as an upgrade? does it come with the mounting bolts? dont want to go too wild since its just the rear.. i searched but not much came up on the caliper just rotors, pads, and lines.
    thnks

well for upgrad you can do lots of things Brembo, Porsche, etc... just depends on the $$ you want to spend. i would buy OEM. thats sucks though man.

i remember my old cabby i think it was the wheel bearing ate through all of the hardware in the rear of the car so there was no brakes left... eventually i was told the wheel would of came off

if i were you, I would just find a new caliper from somewhere other than the dealership.

I agree with the OEM parts, else it does get pricey, unless you find them off a totalled car like some lucky fuck I know. hehe.

Ron White anybody? "... and the right front wheel fell off. It fell OFF. It FELL THE FUCK OFF."
