Problems with ITR Tranny
Well, havin problems with tranny making wierd noise. I thought it was the throw out bearing and changed it out but still making noise, Only makes noise when in gear, idling, but dosent make it when pushed in cuz tranny is not spinnin. Need to know if somone can tell me what it is and can it be fixed without spending money for a new tranny. If I had to get new tranny what should i get as far as building an itr tranny. NEED HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!

did u check and see if something might of been loose and needed to be ajusted?

sounds like the main bearings is going out...
anybody have any other ideas. or what could have caused this to happen.
My friend is a tech at GP Honda and he said the same thing about the main bearing (input shaft bearing) thanks

Check out Gear Speed for high po tranny parts for Honda's. They seem to have some top notch stuff and you can order all parts seperately. They offer rebuild services but you don't have to have them do the work. I think their website is www.gearspeedinc.com. I just checked it and that is correct.
Inout shaft or throwout bearing.
if you press the clutch in and the noise goes away, it HAS to be clutch or Inout shaft related IMO

well i just changed the throw out bearing saturday and still making noise. Noise continunes driving through gears even if you are rolling and clutch is in still can hear noise.
id have to hear it, most likelty its the input shaft bearing, my GFs ITR trans does the same thing

Is your tranny guy pre or post op?
You want me to just bring the tranny or just bring the car down so he can listen to it. Trying to get this fix asap
