    Question kinda a noob question.....

i just have a quick question. I have a y8 (Skunk2) intake mani on my y7. to make this work and function 100% i need to get a automatic y8 TB and change the IACV to the 2 wire on the back of the manifold. Is this all correct? My y7 is a manual.

    thanks,
    Michael

yes if you're converting to obd1. if you're still going to use your stock ecu then keep the y7 tb w/ iacv. i think you were converting to obd1 and boosting a while back so you need to do the 2 wire conversion and also move one of the wires in the harness.

nooo. auto y8 tb is 3 wire iacv just like your y7. manual is what you'll need as well as the 2 wire iacv on a y8 manual intake manifold.
