Need an opinion on Limp mode mod

Has anyone ever done the limp mode mod for the Mk4?

its supposed to keep your car out of limp mode, and choose the settings to a flip of a switch.

Should I even consider running this or no?

Limp mode is pissing me off too much all of the sudden

i would be carefull its not a bad idea but, if you blow a IC hose off or fry a map it wont go limp and could be bad news. i wouldn't unless you have a BT and are trying to get somemore power out of it.

b4 you do the diode mod, I would highly suggest checking out http://www.boostvalve.com/

I am hitting limp b/c of overboosting. Their boostvalve seems like the best alternative.
