    Default Name that part

    anyone have an idea what this is called? It is located behind power steering pump, mounted on the front of the intake manifold. I need to order a new one, but have no idea what to ask for. I believe it has something to do with sensing the manifold pressure, but I'm not sure. It is off my 05 STI

    air bypass valve......dont have a subaru. But got a part that looks similar to that on a rx7 and i work at a parts store so i hope im right.

    that's the stock BCS(boost control solenoid)

    hehe.. its not the stock air bypass valve, but yeah i beleive guy above me is correct, im almost sure its the stock boost control solenoid

    actually its a purge control soleniod valve, $25. and only at the dealer.

    Yea, the BCS is on the passenger shock tower, not the manifold.

    yep, but this is not the bcs. i has something to do with emmisions
