    does anyone know who can rebuild the old 40mm weber carbs for the vw's or where i can buy some cheap, would prefer to rebuild though
    You only live once, maybe twice if you use the e-brake!

    Check the technical section on the www.vwvortex.com forums. I'm sure they could offer a bit more help than we can here.

    you may want to talk to BTLFED i think he has worked w/ carbs on his 510
