if you still have the sun dots on the hatch then you'll need to spray tint that top 4 inches or so (just like spray paint) OR take a scotch pad and scrub the snot out of them until they come off.

There are plenty of ammonia free glass cleaners...the best you will find is made by Stoner...yeah Stoner Products...it's a black can with a yellow top called Invisible Glass. You won't find a better product.
