    Default pcv valve

    hey i just got a 1996 honda civic ex with a d16y8 and i was doing some work on it and i was wondering if anyone here knew where the damn pcv valve is? :confused: thanks

    the pcv valve is on the intake manifold, close to the head between 2 runners.

    yeah, get under the car to pull the hose off the bottom or you'll probably break the pcv valve. ive done before myself.

    yeah, i got it, and the new totally didnt match so i brought it back and the matching one wont be in until tomorrow, so i had to just put it back in and do it all over again tomorrow. its good practice though lol hopefully she'll run better with one thats not totally clogged up, along with the new distributor, plugs, and wires i put on today thanks for the help green91

    PCV is on the intake?!!! How's it supposed to vent the crankcase there?
