    if they were $1 bulbs i'd do that and not make a psot bout it. i guess the low beam is out. guess i'll trash both piaas and get some oem bulbs till i get my hid's

    If you knew anything about anything you would know that the bulb is bad,SO go get another one.Or put your stocks back in or get different bulbs or delete this thread

    you have to tilt your steering wheel at a 90 degree angle while turning off and on your cd player, after 3 minutes, your bulb will work....if it doesnt work....try singing to the bulb

    oh shit, my bad....you said 99 civic EX.....i thought you said DX....this changes everything, you have to wrap your shift nob in alumnium foil and open your glove compartment....then unbuckle your seat belt at night and it will work. Hope this Helps

    Actually, it all depends on wether or not it is imported or American built. To find out, you have to get you car warmed up to running temperature and then(while running-like you're checking tranny fluid) you have crawl under the car to the backside of the transmission. If you see a glowing Honda emblem on it...well, that just means you put one of those APC illuma-glo things on your tranny. Scratch that. You have to crawl under to your transmission. If, while hot, it says JAPAN on it, it is American built. If it say ICELAND, it is built in Iceland. Now you, too, can find out where your car was made. Later, QD.

    easier said than done

    you guys both have it wrong..
    it's actually more complicated than that..
    i can do it for you..


    a normal shop will charge about 6 hours labor.. $80/hour

    but i'll do it for only $575

    yeah i got to vouch for him after i tride for hours to change my bulbs
    I went to andys shop, BULB EXPERTS on WTF RD.
    they are fast and have great prices!
    I know him so he charged me $400 and he waved the bulb disposle fee, so i saved $10 like for car batteries!

    That;s bullshit!!!!.....no one would charge that amount.......that is insanely cheap.....i change this one guy turn single bulb and it was aroudn 500$......so i guess to do the whole high and low beam thing i am guessing.....just guesing now....around 1500$ for everything.....

    I have 00' Ex and have the same problem and it turn out to be the harnesses. So I replaced them with high performance harnesses that can handle the rigors of high output bulbs

    yea dude its just the bulbs...your jsut looking to hard into it cause those bulbs are expensive..just trash them go back withy our stock ones untily ou get your HID's...piaa are a waste of money
