    Default Shaking when braking

I don't know where to post this because i don't know where the problem is coming from. In my 95 mustang when I brake, the front end shutters real bad to the point that my steering wheel even shutters. It feels like the brakes were rubbing metal on metal from the passenger side, but I took both tires off and checked the brakes, all pads are perfect.. seem pretty new.

So that is where i am at with this. I can't think of anything else besides alignment, but i dont think it would be shaking that bad.

    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Matt

    does the car have ABS?

my dads 00 jeep used to do the same....and it was an ABS problem.

    could the rotors be warped?

you have warped rotors, replace them and the pads.

or you have bad wheel bearings.. which isnt likely but is possible.

exactly...people are like, what?! Brembo rotors? how much is that gonna cost me?! lol, most of the rotors you get from your regular autoparts stores are reboxed brembo blanks...there is only so many ways you can patent a single piece of metal with 4 or 5+ holes in it

sorry for taking so long to reply.. but thanks for the info, that is what i was leaning towards after searching online.. warped rotors.

Do i still have to change the pads if they look pretty new, i mean there is hardly any wear on them at all.

Where do i get the brembo blanks from?

    thanks again
