I don't know if its full on c/f or not, but if its wrapped you can use a heating gun and eventually bend it to fit before it cools back down. While I was staying in seattle we noticed a couple bootleg products coming through the door, fiberglass with a c/f wrapped exterior products were one of them.

One guy bought a "c/f" duckbill for his hatch and it turned out to be a fiberglass piece with a wrapped c/f lay on top. It didnt fit, a characterstic of fibergass, so we heat gunned it and slowly brought it back to place. We re-heated it once it was bolted on and now its formed to the shape of his car.

Just an idea if you want to try it.

*Only read the first 3-4 sentences, my mistake*

Damn, I need to read more. I just now saw that you said it was wrapped. Well now you should most deffinately get it heat gunned. That should solve the problem. If you want to get a quality heat gun I suggest you make friends with someone at the body shop because your random pep boys gun won't work. Later

If it is REAL Carbon, not a fake carbon wrap, then have fun heating it.
i say sell the bitch, and buy a real quality part. you get what you paid for.

Of course it won't fit...the process to lay carbon fiber gets extremely hot...as in smoking hot...it will distort just about anything that is being molded on but metal....then if it was vacuum bagged it probably warped even more.

Do no try to heat it...they'll never take it back if you do. Tell them you'll ship it at their shipping cost, not your's. (they probably get a 25-40%+ discount) I read eBay in someones post above...if you got it there then report it to eBay.

this is exactly why YOU DON'T BUY ABS plastic or C/F KNOCKOFFS on ebay! I thought about gettin a ABS plastic type-r lip for my teg but I can't stand freakin knock offs, so I just waited til the real one came around. Sucks to hear that man but good luck with getting another one.

if it was made in a proper mold then bagged, then it should have been fine.
but it sounds like its fake carbon, and plus, you can just bag wet lay up and dont necassarily need to autoclave it.

send it back, buy a quality part.
