Thread: Custom Hub Centric Rings

    Default Custom Hub Centric Rings

So I bought a set of 18" Chrysler wheels to put on my Optima and the wheels have a hub bore of 71.5. The hub bore on my car is 67.1 and I can't find any hub centric rings that size. I bought some 72.6 x 67.1 to see if I could force them in but it didn't work. I am trying to file one down but I'm afraid I won't get it evenly filed and will have vibration. Does anybody know of somewhere that can make me some custom rings or that can trim down my existing rings?

Does anyone think a 67.1 to 71.12 could work or would that .4mm be too much?

Discount Tire used to sell them. That was years ago, and they had to be ordered, but you might want to call and ask them.

I've shopped the web and checked with a friend who works for a wheel shop and it seems 71.5 to 67.1 doesn't exist, so it will have to be custom or I'll have to settle for 71.12, could I get away with using the 71.12?
