    Default Changing From Dry to Oiled Filter

    Can i change a AEM air filter to an oiled filter but still using the AEM intake ?

    Na, the AEM intake tube is made of a special space age material that causes it to digest any nonAEM air filter that is attached to it. After the AEM intake tube digests it's 3rd filter it will then dissolve into thin air leaving your car with no filtration at all.

    lol Why would you want to switch to an oiled filter? I put an AEM Dryflow on my SC400 I had for the very reason that I didn't want to have an oiled filter on there and have to deal with putting juuuuuust the right amount of oil, and not too much so that I'd kill my MAF.

    My AEM filter I purchased was regular size. Had the same size flange on it as any other cone filter.

    I heard it was better to have a oiled filter for better filtration.
