    Default Piston rings

    New to IA and new to building motors, I'm building my first one, i have a gsr block with .50 oversize aftermarket type r pistons, what size piston rings do I need?? And help would be helpful

    .50 is not ideal for stock sleeve, but do your thing bro! With that said most all the rings you buy are file to fit anyways.. .

    82.25 would be .50 over .20 over is 81.5, .40 over is 82mm.... etc..

    So the top of my pistons say 0.50 I'm 20 over?

    No.. read above again!! Piston would be 82.25, all else fails measure the piston!!
