Default So do o2 spacers really work?

OK, so eventually I'll have to be making my car emissions compliant..sort of (OBDII, duh). I need to put the stock ECU in, AFM, EGR pipe and fuel injectors. But the hardest thing will be putting a cat on the car since the exhaust was custom made catless. I've heard the o2 spacers work, but I have not knowing anyone directly who has installed one and can say "yes, it works". Might there be anyone on here who has used one successfully?

Yes, they work. Laurabeth's car has one it in now after her FM downpipe (catted) started to throw code P0420. I also had them in my S2K, Evo & WRX.

It's cool. They call them spark plug anti-foulers for legal purposes. They come in a couple different lengths as well.

I have used spark plug anti-foulers on my old mustang a 03 model But if I remember correctly You have to drill them out a bit.

I've only had to drill one out before.

Ive always been told they work well. Just note that emissions also has a visual inspection portion and they probably won't be to amused

Find someone that is willing to turn their head. That's easier than trying to find someone that'll pass an OBD1 vehicle and/or just lower the car enough where he won't be able to put their mirror under.

I've been rocking these for almost 4 years now, NA and now boosted. Keeps the CEL gone, and I pass emissions every year with my cat removed. You do this to the second o2 sensor.

The visual inspection is only for a cat, the tester most likely wouldn't even notice if the o2 was sticking out, nor is he checking for that. Even a resonator will pass as a cat to some guys. Lol. I just had mine done in august and the tester only plugged my car up and ran the OBDII scan and EVAP test and sent me on my way.

Spark plug anti fouler, or non fouler. Autozone and the likes carries them, made by a company called HELP! and for my o2 sensor thread, the part number 42002. You use two of these bad boys (one pack), drill and bore out one of them with a 1/2" bit, to make clearance for the o2 sensor. So you'll have o2 into drilled fouler, into non drilled fouler, into exhaust
THERE HAS NEVER BEEN ANYTHING MADE THAT DID NOT HAVE A PURPOSE

    Thanks guys

This will eventually come in handy when I move. Right now I'm registered outside metro Atlanta...but plan on moving to another state and that's where the emissions problem comes in. I plan on getting my car to a passing state a few months in advance so I have time to make sure I'll pass with no problems later.
