    Default Transmission Slipping ??

    If an Automatic cars RPMs jump by 200-250rpm when shifting from 2nd to 3rd is this Slipping ?

    you checked the fluid? how does it look?

    When i wipe it on a paper towel it is brown and the level is good but does seem a little watery from feel and look.

    It sounds more like a shift flare. Either way, def check the trans fluid at operating temp with the car running. Sometimes a shift additive can help with this, as can resetting the ECM.

    Yeah got a flush done and replaced with Mitsubishi ATF and its great now
