You know what would be perfect? Running a Stock STi turbo VF39 Deadbolt ported and polished, wastegate blackholed. hehehe let me know. Getting rid of it... 320hp 345tq

If you want stock turbo. Drive the hell out of it. Honestly how much faster are others then you? Not much if any.

you're not talking 265whp are you? I dont think the little snail can flow that much.

265HP sounds about like the Prodrive stage 3 package which bumps the turbo up to 19psi in the midrange.

Personally all these STI takeoff turbos are going for so cheap its pointless to keep the TD04. I know two guys who just got VF39s for $300 or less.

I've got a VF29 right now. Its very very small (essentially its a VF30 with a smaller compressor side).

Actually Milo got one for $200 I believe from Doug's STI at ********.

A VF39 is still a good upgrade over a stock TD04, especially for that cheap.

All the IHI turbos make within 30whp of one another and spool within 500 revs of each other so comparing one to another is kinda pointless. Even the "huge" VF22 only spools a couple hundred revs slower than the "quick spooling" VF34.
