Default 94 Accord, stalls when put into Drive.

So, I've got a friend of mine's car. 94 Accord LX, auto tragic. The engine runs fine, but when you put it into gear when it's warmed up, it starts to run rough, then dies.

The only thing I have to go on, is that the D4 light comes on when the speedo starts to move at all, but it just seems to be a code for one of the shift solenoids. And if it matters at all, the cruise doesn't seem to work, though the wiring and fuse are fine.

    Any takers?

TCM, But I would check the idle first if it is to low it will cause it to run alittle rough before bogging down and shutting off... Most of the time you can adjust it on the throttle body and clean out the throttle body and egr valve
