i did my timing belt a while back and lined the top cam up with the dashes on the inner dust cover and the single line on and crank pulley with the marker on that dust cover. after the belt was on i rotated the cam 3 teeth clock wise and tightened the tensioner, my distro is advanced as far as it can be (believe its advanced, standing on the passenger side its completely rotated counter clockwise), but im still at about 5 degrees, (going by the 3 lines on the crank pulley and the lower dust cover marker) when it should be 16! i tried taking the belt off the came and rotating it one tooth in either direction but then things didnt line up. any idea on what i can do to fix this? seen some forum talking about line the cam up with the top of the head but i didnt try that
