    Default ECU out of a 99-00 civic si j-spec. What number is it?

    These are both dumb questions but ive been out of the honda game for a long time now and would like to know a couple of things.I have this ecu. Its from a hydro tranny, OBD2 99 civic si j-spec car. I see ppl on here post for sale a P28 ecu for sale or P26 ect. wondering what mine is. thanks for the help. And one more question, what is with the ef, ec, ek, eg ect. that everyone is refurring to hondas now a days? thanks

    EG, EH, EK, EM, EJ, DC, DB, BB, etc = chassis code. Look at your VIN, if it's an Si, it'll have "EM1" somewhere in it. People group them together though, 88-91 civic = EF, 92-95 civic = EG, 96-00 civic = EK, 94-00 integra = DC, so on and so fourth.

    The ECU will say what the code is...
    PG7 : 86-89 Integra (86-87 vac advance, 88-89 electronic advance)
