iintegra ls manual trans quick question!!
okay so i jacked my car up yesterday and my transmission has been really loud in reverse, and i can hear it when i shift its very loud sometimes, and its leaking where the linkage from the shifter goes in and the boot is broken, what is is called to fix it and where do i get it?
the leak is coming from the seal but if i remeber correctly you have to change that seal from the inside (may be way wrong so dont bash too hard lol). But that will give you a chance anyways to check clearances and bearing while its open which could be making the sounds you are hearing.
