    Default DSM'ers!: 420a Question! i need answers!

    Hey guysz,
    I have a 96 eclipse with a SRT-4 block and transmission in it. The block is currently blown and I was looking to find a replacement. Finding a SRT-4 block is a hassle and a rare find. So instead of looking for a replacement SRT block, I was thinking I'd just drop another eclipse 420a block in there.

    My question is, do you think the SRT transmission will fit to the eclipse block?
    I mean the Neon and the Eclipse both are 420a's, why wouldn't they??

    they are both not 420a's. got any pics of the "srt" motor? does it run off the SRT ecu or is it megasquirted?

    if its running off of the stock DSM ECU, its not an srt motor. SRT is a NGC computer, and wont work with pre '03 ecus.
