    Default Resistor Box HELP !

Ok I need to hook up a resisitor box. I know the black wires go to the injectors and the red wire goes to the remaining wires on the harness. I have also looked at diagrams and pictures. What I dont get is when you take the multimeter and touch the spots on the harness to see which one are the injectors. Ive done this and the meter doesnt read anything. Does the battery on the car need to be on ? Does the ECU need to be hooked up ? ( took it off to get it chipped ) What exactly do I need to do right to get the readings ?

I would think you would need the key in the on position lol for voltage. But not with the car running. Also you don't have to do that. You can just track the wires back into the harness and take them each out of the large plug with all the yellow/black wires going into it.

Just take 3 injector pins out of it.
Leave one in and cut it a few inches away from the plug.(use this wire for your 12v for your resistor box power. Then just cut your red/black wires to the correct lengths and solder them to the original 4 injector yellow/black wires. I personally like wiring in the resistor box plug so you can unplug the thing but if you don't have it straight wired works fine.

ok so if ound which wires go to the injectors. so i wire the black wire from the resistor box to the injector wires. then i take the red wire from the resistor box and wire it to the remainig wires on the harness
