Default Quick question about T fitting and 1/8 NPT adapters

I used thread sealer and i cant get the whole 1/8 NPT adapter all the way in where all the threads are used. Is this fine? or will it leak? the white part is the thread sealant and its over the thread.

You'll be fine. NPT threads are tapered.

    Taken from Wiki:

The taper on NPT threads allows them to form a seal when torqued as the flanks of the threads compress against each other, as opposed to parallel/straight thread fittings or compression fittings in which the threads merely hold the pieces together and do not provide the seal.
