i got in a wreck and both of my airbags deployed. the damage to the front isn't that bad. need new fenders, front bumper, hood, and radiator. my question is if the air bags deployed do you think the insurance is going to total the car?

Its got less to do with whether they deployed, its total cost of repair vs percentage of car value.

if it reaches 75% of the value it will total and if it got into the radiator and fenders then you probably need a new radiator support also and that will start you add up, you might wanna start looking for a new car homie...
hopefully it wont take 14k or more to fix it

sadly it did, not even half a mile from my house. went across a patch of ice and my car lost control or should i say i lost control. it slid me into the opposite way and hit a lady head on. so i'm waiting for a call today to find out if they'll total it or not.

i tried going to take some of my stuff that was left in out and take pictures, but they only work till 6. i get off of work at 5 and they towed it to lilburn, so i can never make it on time. i feel anxious as hell waiting for the stupid phone call.
damn that insurance dude needs to hurry the fuck up and call me. while waiting i've been google-ing airbags and so far it comes out that for both it shouldn't be more than $1500. so i'm thinking it will be fixable!!
hopefully it will be. My moms sequoia was in a wreck and both airbags deployed. The value was around 15k and the repairs cost 13k and they didnt total it out.

lol so i just receive a phone, but from the insurance. it's from a lawyer. now the woman i hit is trying to sue me, even though when i hit her i called the ambulance to check her out and they cleared her. what a whore she is.

it also just depends on the insurance company..when it is an older model car..majority of the time..they will total it out depending on the damage

I don't think it'll be too bad. Had friend with an 2001 S2K who slid into a curb and messed up the whole driver side. I mean broken calipers, rims, struts, and the whole side was dented up. Yet it was still insured and wasn't total'd. Then a year later a truck hit him in the back real bad, but it still wasn't total'd out. and that was a good 3-4 years ago. BTW insurance was State Farm.

found out where they take it for auction, like iaa south of loganville, we can go in with tools and i'm in the system since i fight insurance companies to pay out more on total loss claims, we can show up for an "appraisal" and rip it out. seriously do not accept the insurance companies offer!!! and make sure to tell them the lady did not get into the ambulance and go to the hospital.
