    Default Nissan help

hey i have a 97 nissan pickup truck. Ka24e with a 5 speed tranny. Having an issue in each gear when the car goes between 3000 and 4000 rpms the car vibrates and also vibrates all the time in 5th gear. Sounds to me like a tranny problem but could it be something else please let me know thanks.

could be a driveshaft or something along the drivetrain. Put the car in gear without an e-brake and rock it back and forth to see if there is a lot of play/clunking. In my car, the driveshaft has a carrier bearing and if that goes bad, it will cause vibrations.

driveshaft is dependent on speed not engine rpm or which gear.

Sounds like the input shaft bearing in the tranny.

does it do it out of gear at those rpms... if so could be flywheel or crankshaft pulley issue.. my guess right now crank shaft pulley.buti have seen tranny issues with those pickups before.
