mount question

98 civic hatch EK....i have a 95 gsr complete motor...can i use those mounts or do i have to get some other mounts because ppl are telling me i need b16 mounts??? and something about a T bracket??? i thought it was just a drop in with all the gsr stuff like mounts and shift linkage...how about ecu can i just get a obd2 to obd1 harness and use the gsr ecu??? thanks

well, depends on what mounts you have. But if you have an offset 2 bolt mount on the gsr, then all your mounts will work minus the rear T bracket on the back if you still have the mounts from your D mounts.(torque mounts won't work off the D). You'll need one from a 99-00 si. Shift linkage will be okay. You can't use the gsr harness since your harness goes all the way throught the firewall and is 1 piece, while the obd1 civics and the integra harness's are 2 piece and the engine harness meets at the strut tower where it unplugs. But you will have to modify the harness you have and wire in a few things, and extend a few existing wires.

i suggest upgrading that hydro mount on the driver side. stock dc shift linkages will work, and your gunna need a 90-00 si rear t bracket bc the stock dc one is to long and wont bolt up to the rear mount.
